AI is rapidly changing how software gets built. In the emerging agentic age, users are no longer just consumers of software, they are developers, creating custom tools using AI-assisted workflows. But these systems are only as powerful as the data behind them. Spatial reality data is one of the most valuable and hardest datasets to collect. We'll explore how OpenSpace is building a data flywheel around reality capture, using spatial APIs and machine learning to power AI agents that can see and understand construction environments. We'll share examples like object search agents built with OpenSpace Spatial APIs, approaches to progress analysis using labeled construction datasets, and AI-powered indoor positioning enabling continuous data capture across jobsites. We'll also look ahead to emerging hardware like smart glasses.
