In facility operations, teams are stuck between heavy BIM models and flat PDFs when they try to understand their space portfolio. This session shows how we built a room-centric “Minimal BIM” layer on top of Autodesk Construction Cloud using Autodesk Platform Services. You’ll see how plans, sections and point clouds in ACC become lightweight 3D models for everyday FM, and how automation and AI assist semi-automatic room tracing and QA. We walk through the architecture, key data structures and background jobs, share lessons from first customer portfolios, and quantify time-to-value. Even if you never use ioFM, you’ll leave with a reusable pattern for FM-ready digital twins.
