The complexity and limited accessibility of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) data have hindered its broader use. Traditionally confined to users proficient in specialized software like Revit, interactive dashboards are now a more intuitive way to consume and leverage this data. With Autodesk Power BI Data Connector, data from traditional authoring applications can seamlessly integrate into Power BI, providing a consolidated view of critical metrics and telling a story to stakeholders. This class will explore how to exchange data from cloud sources, create a comprehensive and interactive view of information, and dynamically update dashboards as data changes. Attendees will explore how to utilize Autodesk Data Exchange to collect mechanical data during the life of a project and transform it into a clear dashboard using the Power BI connector that shows both geometry and rich data that is easy to consume. By the end of the session, participants will learn to create impactful data exchanges and design visually appealing reports and dashboards that offer a single-pane view of critical metrics, KPIs, and trends.
