Day 1: APS + Postman Flows

Discover a visual tool within Postman that allows users to automate API requests and build API workflows. Our developer advocates will teach you how to use a drag-and-drop interface without needing to write code.

Prerequisites

  • Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) account 
  • Postman (free plan is sufficient) 

Day 2: APS + Microsoft Power Automate

Duration: 3 hours

Learn how to use Microsoft Power Automate and Autodesk Platform Services to build apps with seamless integration into Office 365 and other services.

Day 3: ACC Connect

Duration: 3 hours

Get an introduction to Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Connect, an integration platform as a service powered by Workato, with workflow building blocks for interacting and integrating with Autodesk Construction Cloud and a wide array of other SaaS applications. It allows you to: 

  • Integrate many SaaS solutions with ACC, such as cloud storage, e-signature tools, project management, etc. 
  • Build custom workflows that not only keep your systems up to date, but also improve the way your teams work together. 

Prerequisites

What is low-code/no-code?

  • Low-code platforms: Allow minimal coding, offering flexibility with custom code.
  • No-code platforms: Require no coding, designed for non-developers.
  • Visual interface: Drag-and-drop components and workflows for ease of use.
  • Goal: Speed up development and lower the technical barrier.
  • Key difference: Low-code is more flexible; no-code is simpler.

 

Main use cases

  • Integration - connecting different systems, for example, ACC to Sharepoint
  • Automation - automating processes, for example, automated model checking and issue creation
